Having problems with the mechanics here - hope you can help! I've made
traps for wire dipoles before from rg-58 wrapped around 3.5" pvc with
endcaps attached. Using eye bolts thru the end caps, attaching the trap to
the antenna wire is a piece of cake. But I'm having a mechanical mental
block when it comes to figuring out how to best attach one of these traps to
aluminum tubing. Also, constructed this way, the traps have a fair amount
of weight which I'm not sure the tubing can support.

Any suggestions?

I think I have seen something like this, there is a plexiglass
mounted to it with screws and bolts.
