I have a Radio Shack SSB TRC-451.  It powers up,  recieves cahnnels, but I
cannot seem to get it to transmit at all.   Is there anyone in the
Athens/Huntsville,  Alabama area that could look at it for me?

Does the transmit light go on?

Does it have a dead key on AM?

Provide some more information Lloyd. Does the TX light go on? Does the
Rx noise stop when you key the radio? Does the meter register a carrier
in AM mode? Keep in mind that on USB or LSB you must be talking to
provide output power. The 451 is a good radio - difficult to modify for
extra channels, but a good radio.

Oh, yes, Profit NutsacKKK is a ham, licensed by the FCC.
He's basically brain - dead.  In his spare time (when he's not
delivering pizzas for Papa John's), he likes to talk about how
wonderful it will be to exterminate all of the "*** Jews" who run
this country.  (his words).

Just a heads - up...

Clarification: Profit NutsacKKK's a No-Code Technician, which means
he's too ***ING stupid to get HF privleges. He lacks any Electronics
knowledge, and would more than likely stick an oscilloscope probe up
his ASS than in the right location.

In a chat, I asked Moron-Boy if he thought zener diodes were a good
choice for a full - wave rectifier...just for a GOOF...and he claimed
to use them with good success on high - voltage power supplies.

Tsk, tsk.

Where's your crown, King NutsacKKK?
