I don't use anything else in my car,had 2510's and hard to see any
controls,and is a lot easier to operate than a 2510,these are my
opinions due to 6 yrs experence and more with 2510's..and I am not
opening up or wish to argue any points with anyone who reads this

Big sounding AM signal...the Uniden PC-76XL (or PC-66XL)!
The 2950 is not a bad radio, but it falls short in a few areas...but, I tend
to be a purist; that is to say that I want only the BEST! I'm buying a
PC-76XL!

I woild prefer the President Lincoln, to the RCI Radios, although they
are still excellent rigs. The Lincoln Mk2, with an Astatic Silver
Eagle mic sounds 100%. Recieve is excellent on all modes.

The RCI 2950 is good, but the President Lincoln is a better radio for
recieve & transmit
dont buy a 2950 instead buy a sommerkamp 2000, it is the same as the 2950
with many modifications already done. price is around $250.00
