Hiya Nathan,

I posted the same question a few weeks ago and got an
answer from John McLellan who kindly informed me that
the pin-outs are as follows....

1 Mic
2 Rx
3 Tx
4 Up/Down
5 Ground
6 8 Volts

My friend wired his Sadelta to his Maycom using Johns
pin-out information and it worked 100%. The only difference
that my friend found was that he measured 13 volts on
pin 6 instead of 8?.

Hope that helps Nathan.

Has anyone worked out any mods for this radio yet? My friend has got one
and we noticed that when you do a reset on the radio the LCD shows all
the symbols on the screen which include band letters A-F (I think) and
also repeater shifts and DTMF indicators. I would imagine that the
microprocessor is set to restrict to UK and EU bands but may be possible
to open up coverage, a little like the popular Alan 78, 48 and 95
radios.
