Uniden Sportcat 150B Scanner
Please help, I can't hear SQUAT and I miss it real bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One day I turned on my scanner and there was no S O U N D , so I thought,
Boy this is sure quiet today, then I realized my speaker had taken a dump.
So if you can help me out with a speaker that would be great!!
A used one would work, but I would prefer a new one.
I've been told by a local dealer that it could be 2 months before they get
any in.
Well guess what, I would rather not wait that long.
Can you help???????????

Many speakers will work in it, just make sure that the speaker you are
putting in is of the same or slightly greater impedance. I.E. if the
blown speaker is 8 ohms, you could replace with 8-32 ohm speaker. You
may be able to use even greater impedances, but your audio quality would
suffer.

Also, if there is an external speaker jack, you could plug in another
speaker if you don't like going inside your scanner.
