Plez Help
Im looking for a program that I can use to design my own type of antennas
from directional to omidirectional for different Frequency ranges of my
CB,TV & Scanner that would give the length of the Boom ,Elements &
Spacing type of Coax for each, best material to use ( which I have some
Alum. to use ) and whatever else a person needs to know to build their
own super homemade antennas. Also below is a list of manufacture spec. of
11meter cb antennas & rotors that I have and would scan [A Beem or Rotor

Try looking at a program called EZNEC at:

http://www.eznec.com/index.shtml

I have personally used the software myself and I can recommend it as easy to
use. You can also try looking at a software package called NECWin at:

http://www.nittany-scientific.com/

I don't have a copy of this program so I can't say one way or the other how
it works.

Now if you want FREE software you can down load several programs from the
Internet for antenna design, however they are NOT as easy to use as EZNEC.
The source for those programs are at:

http://www-mo.enst-bretagne.fr/documentation/nec2/ (Manuals)
http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu/swindex.html (Software)

For modeling tips, and different antenna ideas etc. the following site has
many useful articles to read:

http://www.cebik.com/aids.html (Antenna modeling notes and aids)
http://www.cebik.com/radio.html (Antenna articles to read)

Good luck with your antenna modeling efforts and have fun.
