from Jacky's QTH (3B8CF).All QSLs for the contacts will be sent
via the bureau.[A good example to follow].
3V - [Tunisia] Starting 1st of March until 10th , DL8HYR (Frank) is
going to 3V8BB.Mainly on Satellite and EME.Possible operation
on the low bands.
YT1AD also from 3V8BB during the CQ WPX SSB contest.QSL via H.C.
5X - [Uganda] ON6TT (Peter) is in mission for the United Nations.
This could take from 6 moths to 2 years.He will be active from :
9X, 9U, 9Q, 5H, ST, ST0, T5, 5Z, E3, ET etc.Operation from Uganda
mainly on SSB/RTTY , CW on request.QSL via ON5NT.
8Q - [Maldives] HB9CYU (Chris) and HB9CZR (Rolf) , from 14 to 20 Feb. ,
as 8Q7YV and 8Q7ZR.
9L - [Sierra Leone] 9L1JC (Jim) his QRV until August 96 .
C56 - [Gambia] DL2RUM ,DL7BO ,DL7DF ,DL7UFR and DL7URH will be QRV :
CW : 1.822, 3.505, 7.005, 10.115, 14.005,18.073,21.005 MHz.
Also on operation on SSB.Look for the low bands and maybe on
Satellite AO13 , 6 meter are also possible.QSL via DL7DF
(ex-DL7UUO).
CQ5_ct - [Portugal] CT1FMX and CT1EWA plan to work from "Nazare'
LightHouse" (Ref: FBL-04) from 23 to 25 February.
The Callsigns issued for this event were : CQ5FMX and
CQ5EWA.This activation also counts for the Portuguese
Castle ' Awards , "Forte S.Miguel Arcanjo " , (Ref: F-027).
QSL via Bureau or Direct to Home Calls.
DL_ant - [Antartida AN-016] An new HAM is QRV from DP0GVN (Alemc Georg
Neumayer) - Ref. WABA DL-03 IOTA AN-016.This station is located
in the Princess Martha Coast.
EJ_iota - [Great Blasket EU-009] From 7 to 10 July the WestNet DX Group
and some HB9 op. will activate the Great Blasket Island (EU-007).
The Callsign is EJ7NET and QSL goes via EI6FR.
FS - [St. Martin] From Feb 22th. to March 6th. N0BSH using call
FS/N0BSH.He will enter the CQ 160 SSB Contest and ARRL DX
SSB Contest together with WE9V and WX9E at FS5PL.
QSL for FS/N0BSH via N0BSH , for FS5PL via WX9E (Only for
the Contest Operation).

Operation from 10 to 160 mtrs + WARC Bands , CW + SSB.
J6 - [St.Lucia] Until the end of February , YT1AD his QRV from St.
Lucia with the call J68AD.QSL via Home Call.
Also from 9 to 23 of March , Walter , DL6SDS is going to operate
as J6/DL6SDS.
JX - [Jan Mayen] JX9ZP is QRV from this Island , where it works !
OA_ssh - [South Shetland] During one month , OA0MP from the Antartic Base
"Peruana Machu Picchu" (WABA OA-01) located in the King George
Island (62.04S-58.27W).Special atention to the weekends around
23.00 UTC on 14.260 Mhz.QSL via OA4WM.
P5 - [Korea do Norte] Possible operation in February by OH2BH and
OH0XX.
PY0_iota- [Trindade Isl.] PY1UP is staying in this Island till March 96.
He his QRV on SSB/CW , 80 to 10 meters.Ref. for Awards are :
IOTA SA-010, DIB-02, DFB OC-04. QSL via PY1UP , see address below.
The callsign issued is PY0TI ...
S0 - [Western Sahara] EA2JG and some EA's will be active as S020R for
a whole week , starting 20 th this month.
They will be QRV on the usual bands , SSB and CW.
QSL via EA2JG , only direct.The Adress is listed below on QSL
info.
SJ9 - [Sweden] SM0DJZ will be on Morokulien , from 15 to 19 February
for the ARRL CW Contest and DARC HF RTTY Contest.Morokulien is
located between Sweden and Norway so John will have two calls
(for DXCC) SJ9WL [SM] and LG5LG [LA].QSL via SM0DJZ.
This is a good chance to "get" the MORKULIEN AWARD.To have more
information contact SM0DJZ !
UA0 - [Zone 23] UA0YAY is QRV from Oblast 159 - Tuva , CQ Zone 23.
QSL via Box 40, Kyzyl 667011, Tuva, Russia.
V4 - [Nevis] N0BSH will be QRV from V4 starting Feb 14th to 21th.
He will participate in the ARRL DX CW Contest.The callsign
is V47NZ.QSL via N0BSH (See below , on QSL info)
Operation from 10 to 160 mtrs + WARC Bands , CW + SSB.
VK8_iota- [Melville Island] From March 8th to 11th 1996 , two VK8's will
be QRV from this Island.They are : VK8HZ and VK8NSB.
Operation from 6 to 80 meters.QSL via VK4AAR (only direct).
Correct address of VK4AAR on 95 or 96 callbook.
The operators will be on the air at the same time with two
stations.Dates and callsigns can change ! The IOTA Ref. is OC173.
VK9C_+X - [Cocos Keeling & Christmas Is.] DL8WPX, DK7YY, DL3DXX and DL7UFN
will be active from Cocos Island as VK9CR , from 13 to 22 Feb.
and later as VK9XY (Christmas Island) , 23 and 24 February.

VP2E - [Anguilla] AA4NC is in Anguilla until Feb.20th with the call VP2EN
Also from this spot KC0ZC (VP2ES) , WA0PUJ (VP2EZ) and N0ZS (VP2E)
starting Feb.28th to March 5th.QSL via Home Calls.
VP2M - [Montserrat] WA2UJH will be back in Montserrat .He will operate
with the call VP2MDY , from 16th February to March 1st.
Operation mainly on CW , 160 to 10 meters.QSL via NW8F.
XZ - [Myanmar/Burma] OH1MA, OH1RY, OH0XX and OH2BH , with calls XZ1A
and XZ1R from 20 to 28 February.
ZF - [ Cayman Is.] K3DI is going to participate in the ARRL CW Contest
(17/18 Feb.) as QRP.Callsign is ZF2OP.QSL via K3DI or W3-Bureau.
ZK1 - [South Cook Is.] K8PDY and WT8S expect to operate from S.C. Isl.
from 17th to 24th February.Operation mainly on CW/RTTY a some on
SSB.Callsigns are : ZK1PYD and ZK1WTS.Also very active is ZK1DI
with strong signals on 40/80 meters.QSL via DK1RV.
ZL7 - [Chatham Island] Barry (ZS1JF/G3MFW) will be QRV from this Island
, 15th to 19th February . This is mainly an SSB DXpedition.
The callsign is not issued yet.QSL via KA1JC.
ZS - [Africa do Sul] Our CT friend in South Africa (ZS6AOO) is QRV as
ZSM6A until Feb 21st. QSL via WA3HUP.
ZW5 - [Brasil] Imbituba Lighthouse (DFB SC-09) , from 15-25 Feb.
Operation on SSB/CW from 80 to 10 meters.QSL via PP5VB , address
below (on QSL info).Callsign to be used is ZW5IZ.
ZW8_iota- [Grande Santa Izabel Isl.] Activity starting 16th February till
20th.The Ref. are : IOTA SA-025 , DIB-19.QRV from 80 to 10 meters
on SSB/CW.The callsign issued is ZW8P.QSL via PS8DX.
