Is Hal Turner done for?

Went to his website just now, and read this on the website:

INTERNET SHOW SUSPENDED
DUE TO LACK OF FUNDING
I am still $1000 short for the bills last month and absolutely NOTHING
came in to the P.O. Box for the past three postal days. I simply
cannot afford to run-up the bandwidth costs for the Hal Turner
Internet Show when this type of deficit will have to come solely out
of my personal funds. As such, the Hal Turner Internet Show is
SUSPENDED until such time as I can be re-imbursed through donations
for the bills from last month - or at least a good part of them.

I will post updates twice per day showing the tally of received
contributions.

All other programming on the Turner Radio Network WILL AIR AS
SCHEDULED but will only be available live through the Turner Radio
Network web page.

and read this too:

vBulletin Message
TEMPORARILY CLOSED DUE TO LACK OF FUNDING. Will re-open upon receipt
of enough Donations.

Quote:>>>  I will say this, I am dissapointed in Mr. Turner, he lost alot of

recent donations, due to the strict controls he placed on his message
board.

I used to donate in order to get archives of his internet show. Due to
the fact that they never were posted on time, I quit sending him my
money.  I supposed I'm not the only one.

Hal Turner is on the ash-heap of talk radio. But don't worry, the
return of KV4FZ and B.A.R.F. on 14.313 will liven things up around
here. I could make a "prediction" as wheather Hal or Herb will come
back first.  The 75m ham band is picking up folks.  Last night on
3850khz, a man was belching on the air, and making funny noises. I
laughed like crazy.

If it were not for Mr. Hollingsworth and his years of enforcment,
people like Hal Turner would not have had such a following......

Did you tape this Lloyd this sounds like the funniest thing I ever heard.
The AARL should start collecting clips of this kind of stuff and putting it
on CD.  What a great Christmas gift idea.

(pause) Oh Higher Power please, if I ever get so lonely that I need to get
my laughs by listening to a person belch on SSB, let me die a quiet but
quick
death.

I think it was a valiant effort, but I think the intrest just isn't there
any more. I donated a meger amount of money, but I am a poor man as it is.
He simply had too much to pay for.

There are at least 3 on this NG alone.

I think Hal is a solid radio host, on par with some of the popular
mainstream hosts on the AM dial. The subject of his show alone keeps him
from being a true radio star. I have no idea what his money situation is,
but I have seen many programs before his that have died due to lack of
funding. Hal did a great job upholding free speech, even letting morons
flood his board with profanity several times before making "restrictions" on
his board. These "restrictions" were merely a process to positively identify
those who were to post on his board, so that nobody could post something
that they wouldn't take responsibility for. I have not been Hal's biggest
advocate in the past, but I am impressed with what Hal has endured to keep
his show on the air.

I don't think you're using that R75 to its full potential if that's what
you're listening to...  :-)

Actually, for Lloyd, this is a tremendous improvement.  Much
better he listen to people making body noises on air than to
the hate mongers and profits of doom he used to, making
him depressed and seething with hate at the same time.

Good for you, Lloyd!  Keep laughing!
