A3 - [Tonga] From 3 to 8 of May , Michael (DF8AN) should be active from
Tonga.Activity on 40, 15 and 6 mtrs CW (QRP 5 Watt).
CT1_dip - [Portugal] A group of CT operators plans to be QRV from the Aveiro
Lighthouse (DFP Ref. FBL-001) and from some Islands in the Beira
Lit***group.The callsigns should be homecall/p.More info soon !
CT8_dfp - [Portugal] The CT1FMX dxpedition to "Ponta da Piedade" LightHouse
was changed for the period 24 to 26 of May.Call stills CT8FMX.
On the return , CT1FMX expects to activate "Forte do Pessegueiro"
(Ref. DCFP F-042)
CU4_dfp - [Azores] CU4AH will sign portable from "Ponta Barca" Lighthouse
(DFP FAZ-003) located in the Graciosa Island (DIP AZ-004).
Starting 3rd of May for three days. Frequencies : 14180, 14260,
7060, 3680, 3790.
EK - [Armenia] Victor ,RV6HKB/EK, will be QRV from Armenia for 1 year.
He will be on 15, 20 and 40 meters with a dipole and 100 Watts.
F_iota - [Noirmoutier EU-064] F/ON5UP/P is active until April 20th from
Noirmoutier Island (IOTA EU-064). Every day from 7 to 9 UTC on
7.030 Mhz.
GJ_iota - [Les Minquiers EU-099] Jim (G3RTE) and Phil (G3SWH) will be
Les Minquiers Plateau (EU-099) with calls GJ3RTE/P (SSB) and
GJ3SWH/P (CW).They plan to have two stations running at same time.
QRV from June 28th to July 1st.
GM_iota - [Benbecula EU-010] From 23 to 30 of July , Ken (G0PCA), Eileen
(G0PCB), Ian (G0MIF), Stuart (G7JYF), Kurt (G7NCV), Debbie (G7UWH)
and Katie (2E1DQA) will be active from Benbecula, Outer Hebrides
IOTA EU-010 with the call GM0PC.
HC8 - [Galapagos] Starting April 21st to May 10th , DF1VU ,DL4VCG and
DK5VP will sign portable HC8 (e.g. DF1VU/HC8) using 700 W and two
Yagis.QRV from 10 to 40 meters between 14 and 18 UTC.
HH_iota - [Ile a Vache NA-149] HH6JH is living in this Island.He is QRV at
sundays on 14.260 Mhz.QSL via home call.
HI - [Dominican Rep.] K9LTN/HI9 (Bob) is active until the end of April.
He is QRV in all bands , SSB + CW.
J6, J7 - [Dominica & St.Lucia] During April , F5JYD will be in Dominica and
St. Lucia where he plans to be QRV.
JA6_iota- [Tsushima AS-036] In the last week of April , JA6WIE will be QRV
from Tsushima Island (IOTA AS-036) , also from this group , 5 to
7 of May JR0GFM will be QRV.
KH4 - [Midway] NH6D/KH4 (Bill) will be active again for two weeks from
Midway (Top #1 in the Portuguese Most-Wanted).
SV5_iota- [Kalymnos & Telendos & Leros EU-001] From May 25th to June 14th,
Fred, SV5/SM7DAY/QRP.Activity only on 17 and 20 mtrs CW.
TJ - [Cameroon] Two US operators will be QRV using call TJ1GB. SSB + CW
QSL via WA6SLO.
UA_ant - [Antartic] Starting July , RU1ZC will be in SAAM Mirny (Antartic
Base WABA UA-07) for three months, as R1ANZ.QSL via RU1ZC.
V7_iota - [Marshall Isl.] From 2 to 14 of May , WW1V (Bob) will be in
Kwajalein Atoll (IOTA OC-028) as V73W.
VE_IOTA - [Seal NA-126] Some operators of the Montreal West Island Amateur
Radio Club plan to be active , July 25th to August 1st, from Seal
Island (IOTA NA-126).Some VHF activity , see below !
VK_iota - [Croker IOTA New-one] The VK8NSB activity from Crocker Island was
changed the period 8 to 14 of August.
VK9_iota- [Saumarez Reef OC New-one] VK4FW/9 (Bill) is going to Saumarez
Reef , New one for IOTA , from 27 to 28 of April.
VK9_wpx - [Norfolk] Jim (VK9NS) and Kirsty (VK9NL) will use the special
calls VI9NS and VI9NL during the 75th Anniversary of the "Royal
Australian Air Force".
VP8_sg - [South Georgia] Reg (VP8BPZ/GW8VHI/DA4RG) plans to be active from
South Georgia during is Dxpedition to the Falklands (11-May to
11-September).
VP9 - [Bermuda] From 9 to 15 of June , N1LJA/VP9 (Paul) will be QRV on
10 to 40 mtrs.
W6_iota - [San Miguel NA-144] Jim (KG6VI), Steve (N6WKU), John (KO6TN),
Frank (N6RNX) and other operators will be active from San Miguel
Island (IOTA NA-144).They will be there from 26 to 29 July , also
for the IOTA Contest.
YB8_iota- [Tongian OC New-one] John , YB5NOF , will be at Tongian Island on
April 26th.The callsign is going to be YB5NOF/8.
ZB2 - [Gibraltar] ZB2/DL7CM (Hans) and ZB2/DL1BX will be active from 10
to 20 of May.Also until 1st of May ZB2FX (G3RFX) , QSL to H.C.
7X_iota - [Algeria] Possible operation of W3GF from two new Refs for IOTA.

8P - [Barbados] From April 24th to May 6th , DJ1TO (Bernd), DL7UTO
(Baerbel) will sign 8P9IR and 8P9IU.
8Q - [Maldives] From September 8th to 22nd , Andy (G4VPM) will sign
8Q7PM.
9K_iota - [Persian Gulf Group AS-118] Dave (KA5TQF) will be on Kuwait until
May as 9K5/KA5TQF.It is possible that he operates from IOTA AS-118
group on April 25th.
9L - [Sierra Leone] Starting May/June , Paul (9L1PG) and Millie (9L1MG)
will be QRV from Sierra Lione.QSL via NW8F.
9M2_iota- [Pinang state Group AS-015] From April 23rd to May 5th , Steve
G4JVG/P29DX will be QRV from Pinang State group (IOTA AS-015).
He will sign 9M2/G4JVG

VA7 - [Canada] The Mountain DX Club of Port Coquitlam is preparing a DX
expedition the 8,000 ft peak of Blackcomb Mtn (at Whistler ,
British Colombia) for the CQ WW VHF Contest this year.
They plan to be QRV on 6 mtrs , 2 mtrs and 70 cm running 100 W and
longboom yagis.The grid square is CO80 .The callsing will be , if
approved , VA7SKI .If the callsign is not approved they will use
VE7VDX.Any more information , skeds request ... to Scott Leaf :
VE_IOTA - [Seal NA-126] Some Trans-atlantic QSOs are expected in the 2 mtrs
band (144.020 and 144.030 Mhz). [More info on VHF]
*************************************************************************** /EX NPDXG Portuguese edition -> The last numbers of our bulletin were not translated to Portuguese due to an health problem of Pedro CT1FUF. The Paper version is being prepared and delivered at time but the digital version is not.We hope Pedro gets better soon and that the bulletin starts to be translated to our mother language for CT and PY readers. First year of NPDXG activity -> Our DX group is making it's first year ,next April 25th.We expect our work to help the DX comunity was useful , some of our activities were : - DXpedition to Insua Island , IOTA EU-150 - DXpedition to Morraceira Island , DIP BL-013 - DXpedition to Culatra Island , IOTA EU-145 - Colaboration in some CO (Cuba) Dxpeditions by, CT1EEB and CT1ESO. - Participation in several DX contests in HF and VHF (By our VHF group) - Activation of some "rare" QTH Locators for VHF-hunters. - Edition of an regular DX information Bulletin in Portuguese and English, with an paper version for those without packet radio or Internet account. - Instalation of the 2nd DX Cluster node in Portugal linked to the European Packet Cluster Network.The call is CS1NDX-5 and it's working in our Club. Thanks to CT1EKF and NPDXG members in Oliveira de Azemeis for their help, also to CT4KQ. - Cooperation with some magazines and RadioAmateur Clubs and Associations. - Organization of meetings between DX'ers in CT-land , especially in the Aveiro District. We hope to organize even more events.
