Up until a few weeks ago Thomas Gilbert (Sherif2105) worked as an Outside Sales
Representative for Texas 2 - Way Communications.  Thomas is aware that at no
time without my or Brian's consent was he to use the Buiness for his personal
use. So, if there is a problem with what he has done Texas 2 - Way
Communications will not accept responsibility for what he has done on his own
time or outside of our offices. I am aware of the lap-top incident and to my
knowledge the computer was working at the time I viewed it (About two weeks
before it was shipped). I have spoken with Joe and have advised him of my
findings. I have recieved complaints from Joe about the incident and at this
time it is out of my hands. I am no longer his employer.  I reccomend that he
or anyone else with problems with Thomas Gilbert to contact him new employer

Thank You

You can still be sued if he was your employee at the time.  Of course you can also
hold him liable for your damages.

Jason,

You have just take an incident of misunderstanding and added my name and company to
it and posted it on the news group and copied 4 other people.  You, nor I, nor
those 4 other people are not a direct party the misunderstanding between Thomas

publicize it is dishonorable and malicious.  You may be unhappy (for what reason I
can't imagine) that Thomas now works here.  That is between you and him.  I have
always treated you with respect  even though you aspire to compete in my industry.
Respect earns respect.  I'm beginning to think that all the people on this news
group are Army types  playing with their flame thrower off duty.   Don't join that
bunch.  It is admirable that you back up Thomas about the computer.  I count him as
an honorable man until he proves me wrong.  This angst on the news group is crap.
We all need to be honorable, friends and business people.

Now a note to everyone out there.  If you like flaming the just join rec.flame.swap
, or do your flaming in front of a firehouse where they can quickly throw some cold
water on you.
Life is too short for this stuff.

Best regards,
Dan Long
