Bill,
I have some from that era. Unfortunately I had a ba***t flood some
years ago and tossed out the ruined ones. Do you know the month or the
article and I can sure take a look.

Hi,
I've had some other people look for it with no luck. Its
was a small article, not a cover story, about modifications
to the Kenwood R599 receiver. My guess was around
1973-1975, but it apparently could have been a year or two
off from that
