 I've got a Montgomery Ward SSB 40ch.CB I want to convert to 10 meters
if possible. The PLL is a NEC K8Y039 D2824C. It has a single 10.24 Xtal.
(I've heard that the single-Xtal PLL's are harder to do tricks with.)
 BTW, all of the ads I've seen for CB modification books mention Sears,
Uniden, Cobra, Realistic, etc., but no Mont.Ward. Is this CB made by
somebody else (a clone)?
 Lastly, can you recommend which CB mod. book (Screwdriver's Expert,
CB Tricks I,II, and III, Tomcat's Big CB Handbook, etc.) would do me
the most good for this rig?
