Can someone tell me the easiest way to
replace the VFO dial light on a Drake TR7?

It seems to buried below the circuit boards.

   Haven't had to do this yet, but if you remove the 4 phillips on the
side panels (plastic) and the bandswitch knob, I believe the entire
front panel will tilt forward- possibly gaining access to the VFO lamp.

Gas tubing as used in school chemistry laboratories. It snakes around until
touching the bulb; then you can push and it will (eventually) grip the bulb
and allow you to unscrew it or unbayonet it, as the case may be. Needs
patience; and sometimes a dentist's mirror.
