Hi Gang:

This is not the famous CY-979 cabinet (unfortunately) but it is a nice

metal table cabinet that used to house a microwave test set and will
house a R-390/390A, SP-600 or other radio of its size class.  It is
panel opening is 19" wide by 10 1/2" high.  The cabinet will
accomodate a chassis that is 15 1/2" deep.  There is a top cover that
is removable and there are handles on the top of the cabinet.  Inside
there is a muffin fan that could be removed if you want but it
shouldn't interfere with the fitting of a receiver.  It could use a
cleaning up but is in nice condition.  I'll trade or sell it for
$60.00 plus UPS.  Please reply by e-mail if interested.

Unfortunately, this will not fit an SP-600 (nearly 17" deep).  AFAIK the only
aftermarket box that will is the extra-deep old Bud - often equipped with those
garrish chrome trim strips w/red stripes<G>.
