Very nice, I like it. How would I go about inputting data for my
area from the Police Call CD?

    Good work, thanks!

Regarding Java780's auto database query feature...

You can import any tab delimited file.  So, if you have Police Call,
Spectrum, or any of the other frequency databases, just export a
search to get the data out into a tab delimited file.

You can use almost any spreadsheet program (including OpenOffice.org -
free) to cut the columns you don't want and then save the file.

Java780 has been tested with files as large as 20,000 records.  So, if
you want to export all frequencies for a city, county, or whatever
from Police Call and have Java780 lookup these frequencuies as they
are received, or produce  reports of received frequencies against this
database - that will work as long you hava a fast enough PC and enough
memory.  If you don't have a fast CPU for real time, you can still
produce a report of received freqs against your reference database.

Just look at the samples that come with the product - make your Police
Call export look like those and it will work.
