IC-R2 software for windows 2000

Anyone have some IC-R2 programming software for Windows 2000?  The stuff
from icom doesn't seem to work, get's about half way downloading then says
"Recieve error, try again" and the software on butel.nl finished downloading
but when it's complete in says "Device Unavailable" and exits the program.
Both programs seem to work fine with my windows 98 laptop and swapping
cables from home-made to icom supplied didn't change anything.  Thanks!

Make sure your COM ports are setup in CMOS/BIOS with their true address, and
IRQ's!  Plug'n'Play automatic settings can confuse DOS programs.  If that
doesn't help, try disabling the FiFo buffering on your COM port in
Win2k...see if that helps.

ARC2 will support NT4 and NT2000 soon. The problems with NT4 are fixed and
we will release a new version within 2 weeks that supports NT4. NT2000 will
be supported soon but requires more testing over here.
The problem you reported looks simular to the problems that were reported
under NT4.

Win.ME should be no problem with current version, according to one of our
reg.users but for the moment we do not support ME until we checked it
ourselves.

Windows SE?  I think you mean ME.  There are lots of reason I don't use
Windows ME but I'm not going to get into a debate about which OS is better
because that's not the point, and the problem with butel's software has been
fixed.
