Icom PCR1000 - Multiple Bank Scan

Icom PCR1000 - Multiple Bank Scan

Post by DeBoAT » Sun, 26 Apr 1998 04:00:00

I've just purchased an Icom PCR1000 and so far and very pleased with it
except for one thing.

I can't seem to get it toscan more than one bank at a time. I've done the
usual things (read the directions, checked the help) and can't find
anything on making it scan more than one band at a time.

Does anyone have any expierience with this beast?

Thanks!
Tom

I have had my PCR-1000 for several months now.  Love the
radio.  Like the software.  Have grown to consider Icom's
support plans (or lack thereof) for the software as a real
pain in the butt.  So far any and all of my input for a need
to add bank linking and frequency lockout tables to their
software has fallen on deaf ears.

You might try ScanCat Gold SE - it has all these features
and many more.  The visual impact of the interface is a
little rougher than the Icom software, but the functionality
is FIRST RATE.  I have no affiliation with ScanCat other
than as a satisfied user.  IMHO it is worth the investment.
