SO GO BUY ONE FROM one of those guys....  but don't forget to use your
VCHIP when you place your order.

Billions of dollars of protected financial transactions occur because of
telephone credit card transactions and all you need to know about me is
that if you don't receive your merchandise by 10am next day, you can
call me a crook and get your money back.

Don't call me names until you've tried it.

It's moronic statements like those above that destroy commerce in this
country and this forum. When, in fact, supplies of scanners are
plentiful the prices may change, but right now I'm the guy with the
inventory and the cash tied up.  The prices you quote are meaningless if
the stock doesn't exist, or is sucked up by pre orders and waiting
lists.

There are only a couple of dealers who even have stock and I am
obviously not trying to compete with them. I see Jeff at Ham Station has
a very short list now, and a very good price.  He's a good guy to deal
with and as I only have a few left now after my local sales, I am real
happy for anyone who can get a scanner from him.

Your comments are simply self serving - somehow you get a woody from
bringing down other people with scathing negative comments.  Some of us
have a living to make and a job to do.

Oh, btw, don't tell me how to run my business - run your own.  Any
'customer' I do business will have all the information you suggest and
will not complete a transaction they are not comfortable with. They, I
am sure, don't need you to mother hen them.

If you don't like my post simply say so "Gee Tim your price is a bit
high"

Ok buy a scanner from someone else.

If I offerred you a trunk tracker for $89.95 but only if you send the
cash taped inside the pages of a January issue of TIME to my secret mail
drop, would that make you happy

calling you names: where?  when?  who?

moronic...a bit out of the blue sky, no. Moronic...laconic,yes,
        but moronic. question mark.

one thing: destroy commerce in this country is a bit egotistic.
Your conribution must be enormously needed to keep the
military happy so they can protect the shores of this land
        we call "home"....

as for below...really now, no one in their right mind would
buy at this price.  This is going a bit low.

ps: did you not see the sarcasm and the underlined humor when you
reacted to my post?  You evidently think the Internet is your
Bible and must defend it because it's your one unabiding good:
        you have faith.

those that are not mentally imbibed allow it to pass or to
react in a tone that is "relative" in tone.

    bill
    etc.

Tim,

Just ignore old Bill, at the baycitvidgrp.  Most of us already do.

I think too many times hit across the head while being arrested for
chasing police calls has affected his brain.

Charge what you want.  Supply and demand rules!

For a guy who is in the business of selling stuff you ought to check out
what your competition is selling the unit for.

Grove is selling it for $299. And I think shipping is included.
