Billions of dollars of protected financial transactions occur because of
telephone credit card transactions and all you need to know about me is
that if you don't receive your merchandise by 10am next day, you can
call me a crook and get your money back.

It's moronic statements like those above that destroy commerce in this
country and this forum. When, in fact, supplies of scanners are
plentiful the prices may change, but right now I'm the guy with the
inventory and the cash tied up.  The prices you quote are meaningless if
the stock doesn't exist, or is sucked up by pre orders and waiting
lists.

There are only a couple of dealers who even have stock and I am
obviously not trying to compete with them. I see Jeff at Ham Station has
a very short list now, and a very good price.  He's a good guy to deal
with and as I only have a few left now after my local sales, I am real
happy for anyone who can get a scanner from him.

Your comments are simply self serving - somehow you get a woody from
bringing down other people with scathing negative comments.  Some of us
have a living to make and a job to do.

Oh, btw, don't tell me how to run my business - run your own.  Any
'customer' I do business will have all the information you suggest and
will not complete a transaction they are not comfortable with. They, I
am sure, don't need you to mother hen them.

If you don't like my post simply say so "Gee Tim your price is a bit
high"

Ok buy a scanner from someone else.    

If I offerred you a trunk tracker for $89.95 but only if you send the
cash taped inside the pages of a January issue of TIME to my secret mail

        I think too many times hit across the head while being arrested for

        Charge what you want.  Supply and demand rules!

Grove is selling it for $299. And I think shipping is included.

sites have them even cheaper....Capitalism is great

Seems a little overpriced to me... I got mine from the Ham Station in
Evansville, IN
for $265 + $6 for shipping... and I ordered it on May 24th!!
