Has anyone got the address for a dealer or the company itself.? I need a
replacement battery pack for my AR900.   THanks

The Same Batetry pack was used on the AR880, AR900 and AR1500 (although
later AR1500 have a three pinned connector to the PCB rather than 2).

If this is an internal battery pack (ie NiCads solder-tabbed together and
shrink wrapped in plastic) you can get just about any configuration you
need from Digi-Key, here in the US. They use Panasonic NiCads and make
whatever you need! Very good prices too. They have a $25 min order though,
so you may have to get 2 packs! They come with two thin metal solder tabs
exposed and the + tab is marked.

My ICOM R1's internal battery pack had 2/3 AA's (same size as AA's but 2/3
the height) wrapped in a pack of 6 for a 7.2V pack. ICOM wanted $65 for a
replacement! I bought 2 from Digi-Key for $42 (including shipping). I had
to use the old battery's connector, but it was worth the10 minutes to
desolder and solder it on the new one to save $45 each!

If this is an external battery pack with a case that slides on the bottom,
ignore this (unless you can open up your old case and swap out the pack
inside)!
