Does anyone know where can I view lists of Trunking Group Codes

In the Bakersfield/Kern County area CalTrans is 800 conventional, not
trunked.
Try that and see what happens. Good luck ...

Cal Trans in Chico/Marysville area also operates on a conventional 800 mhz
frequency.

how about group ID numbers like 400-2, 500-3, etc. These are much easier for
the trunk tracker to stay locked on a specific channel (not frequency) to
follow conversations. With the other type (4534, 421, etc), you must
continuously scan becasue a specific channel can consist of more than one of
these type ID numbers. Get with it people!!

What part of California are you located in?
Can you share the CALTRAN Talk Groups that came across with
the rest of us?

Sorry, it just seemed to fit. The Caltrans system ID's are not 400-2 or
500-3 as you suggested because they are not on a type I system. They are on
a type II. If you are monitoring a type I system in type II mode then you
get the results you mentioned above. Check the manual under fleet maps, it
goes into great detail about it.
