Which antennas (maybe from RS?) are good for a Pro-90 scanner to do: 49 Mhz
range, 800 Mhz trunk range, and 900 mhz range??

RS has a great little $9.99 telescoping antenna catalog number 20-006
that's fantastic for VHF fully extended, just as good as the stock
duckie on my bc235xlt at 800/900mhz when fully collapsed - a real gem,
to say the least.

For more money, www.strongsignals.com has reviews of some unusually
good flexible and, well, miscelanious antennae. I can't claim to have
personal experience, but I ordered a Diamond antenna based on the
reviews there.

I've been using one of these for teh past 10 years.  Runs circles around any
*** duckie on the lower frequencies.
