Motorola Talkgroup 0?

I've been logging talkgoup 0000 on trunker in the daytime while I'm at
work. I keep taking it out of the system's .grp file, but it keeps
showing back up.

Is 0000 a valid talkgroup for Motorola Type 1 systems? You can't enter 0
into the 235's memory - 0 just clears whatever memory you had. I have
tried 1, talkgroup 0 with an all call status bit, but I have not logged
anything.

If you mean 000-0, then it is a valid TG.  It would ordinarily be a
fleetwide group for 000.

If you mean 0000 on a Type II system, then I would say it's bogus, but I
don't know why you would be seeing it.  Maybe there is some interference
that is causing the data to be distorted.
