NYPD Aviation Unit is part of the Special Operations Division (SOD) and
operates on the CityWide SOD/Traffic channel 470.8375 mHz.
The helicopters communicate with their base on their "company freq"
123.1 mHz (am) and secondary freq 122.9 mHz.
