CAD...Computer Aided Dispatch

I would like to hear from those that have monitored CAD...Computer Aided
Dispatch...the in-police-car-computer-systems.  I would love to monitor
Atlanta area police jurisdictions CAD's.  How can I get started in such
monitoring, and how expensive is it?

I believe your are looking to monitor their MDTs (Moblie Data Terminal) or AVLs
(Automatic Vehicle Locator).  A CAD system helps the dispatcher with which units to
send on a call.  It "recomends" to the dispatcher a unit to send based upon location,
available units in the area, type of call, etc...  So I believe you are looking for
how to monitor MDTs.
