PRO-94 won't find data channel.

Post by Av8t » Sat, 20 Nov 1999 04:00:00

I programmed my PRO-94 with the trunk freqs of our local power company.  I
think I did everything ok, I can hear (in conventional mode) the datachannel.
However when I go to trunk mode, it keeps searching as if it never finds the
datachannel.

Now, I'm not 100% sure if this is a M II system or not.  Its NOT digital as I
can hear people talking on each frequency as well as the data.

Am I missing something?

This may be obvious, but did you remember to hold down the Trunk button to
enter Trunk programming mode before you entered the freqs?  I forget that
all the time.  Otherwise it may not be a Moto control channel...

If it's a 900 MHz narrowband Edacs system, your radio will not track it.
