AOR8000 and RT3800, TR4000?

AOR8000 and RT3800, TR4000?

I am looking for SW reception performances of AOR AR8000 as compared
with Sony ISF-PRO 80 or other Sony or Grundig receivers.
When I call ACE and ask about AOR AR8000 they suggested me try Trident
TR3800.  Daes anyone have any opinion(s) or information on Trident TR3800 and
TR4000 scanners?
I woul like find some information on TR3800 and TR4000:
                1. sensitivity,
                2. selectivity,
                3. IFs,
                4. tuning increments,
                5. VFO control (?),
                6. who manufactured.

I had a Sony Pro 80 and sold it when I got my Yupiteru 7100. The Pro 80
was somewhat more sensitive than the Yupi. I also have an AR8000 and am
not crazy about its performance on SSB ham radio signals. The radio is
also no where near as sensitive as the Yupi and can't touch the PRO 80.
It also seems to me that the AR8000 has a higher noise floor than the Yupi.
