Ok. Let's say I want to be able to get I-Calls while scanning my State
Police in ID Scan mode (so that I can see alpha tags).
At first I thought all I had to do was assign alpha tags to the I-Call
IDs... but then I noticed that the I-Call ID keeps changing! Is there a way
around this? How many different IDs do I-Calls use?

I might be wrong, but I think I Call ID's are dynamically assigned.
Therefore your only option would be to enter in an icall ID of 700000
(press - then 0 then E) and tag that.

I (like you) have had ICALL progammed since getting my radio... but
whenever it stops on an ICALL channel, all I hear is static, no
matter what number comes up

Using IDTrackers' hit-and-hold function, I logged over a half-dozen
differnet numbers, and some of these stayed active for several minutes
but I still heard only static
