bc250d remote cable connection

Post by Charlie Brookhar » Tue, 01 Apr 2003 11:38:27

I am trying to connect the bc250d to my computer so that I can enter trunked
frequencies more easily. The problem I am having is that I cannot figure out
how to remove the cover on the right side of the scanner so that I can
connect the small end of the cable. The large end of the cable is already
connected to the computer. I've tried using my finger nail and a knife to
open the *** cover on the right side, but have not had any luck. Can
anyone help out?

Thanks for this information, just got a
Uniden BC250D with the BCi25D card
and have not been able to get the
computer comm port cover off either!
