Does anyone know about the law and scanners in New Zealand. I thought
that you could listen to anything you wanted as long as you didn't
relay the information.
I was recently stopped at a breath testing checkpoint here in
Christchurch, the police officer saw a scanner and asked did I listen
to the police? (of course I do!) I said that I suppose I could, they
said if I did they could confiscate the equipment!
This sounds like bs to me, does anyone know for sure?
