This newsgroup is commonly read by New ham, and scanner ***. (ie. a 6
year old General Ham in my group) Please lets not lower the impression
of this newsgroup with that, or subjuct such young eyes or ears with
cussing. Thank-You WB6SUB

Trevor from what I have seen on these newsgroups your statement is an
open "FLAME" request.  However I agree with you.

If you think "hell" is cusing, you should read some other posts.  With
the amount of flaming on this newsgroup i'm suprised that you would
allow your 6 yr. old to read them.  The impression of this newsgroup
coulden't get any lower than it is.  By the way, hell is not one of the
words in the forbidded word groups listed by the FCC, News Media, Motion
Picture Industry.  Your child hears worst than H E L L in school and at
the movies.

By the way, I am NOT flaming your post.  Just expressing my opinions, or
is that against your policy also.

Well, SOMEBODY should be flaming his post!  Surely, you don't think
(unless, of course, you're some kind of evangelical christian type, a
Four-Square-er, or Bible Church-er, or something like that) that you're
doiing these kids any favors by covering their ears, and shush-shushing
people around them - in effect, leaving them TOTALLY unprepared for the
realities they must someday face as they become ***s?

That's what this society IS, fer cryin' out loud!!!
Expose them to the evils - TEACH them that it's evil and let it become a
learning experience, but what you are doing by making this a "hidden",
forbidden thing, is making it(yes, even simple profanity!) something that
they will seek out and REVEL IN, when at long last,(in their view), they
are FREE! of your cloistering, protecting, smothering, "Good Intentions".
Don't you people ever learn?  Look what teaching ***ness is evil, sex
should be done in the dark - never talked about - has done for your kids!
The simple truth is that because of THAT, EVERY high-school boy knows that
the easiest and most likely place to get layed is in church!  (It's because
the girls who are the most repressed by their parents ***ly, are the
most free with their favors, when left to their own devices.)  It's simple
psychology.

So get off this kick before you ruin another generation, will ya?

Yup, I whole - heartedly agree with what you said here, Tom. I have seen
this happen ! We had a guy in our town was a cop, so he was always preaching
about the evils of *** and such around his house. So what happens ? His
KID winds up DEALING *** ! What happens is, you give the kid a candy - ass
view of the world, and when he grows up a little , and finds out it just
ain`t so, he never listens to you again ! As far as he is concerned, YOU
were full of ***!

We got another one in town here, her mother is a minister, and prejudice as
hell, (I live pretty far up in the boonies) and her daughter winds up
marrying a black guy , just to plunk Mom`s twanger !

Go ahead ! Give the kid a cream - of - wheat view of the world ! He or she
will "thank" you for it later, IN SPADES!

He is right...Hell is not on ANY list....
Because, a so called bad word list does not exist in the FCC Reqs. Sure there
was a case involving the George Carlin broadcast a long time ago. But that
case never resulted in a list on bad words being placed on any FCC books.

The media says what it want's...based on what they think you want to
hear/see.
The MPAA rates movies...not censor them. It is up to the producers to choose
what they want to say,and what rating they think they can get.

Yea right. A 6 year old amateur operator. What kind of authority allows
a baby to be licenced? It's like the morons that licenced a child to
pilot an aircraft with the highly predictable result that the child
crashed the plane and died. Only in America, I hope.

The use of 73 and Q codes in this newsgroup is swearing and must cease
