Ordering Bearcat 245XLT from States (to Canada)-What can I expect to pay for customs/duty

Hi,

I'm probably going to be ordering a Bearcat 245 from an American
supplier and have it shipped to me in Canada.  Has anybody done this
and if so how much trouble is it and what can I expect Canada customs
to add onto the price.  If you have done this who have you ordered
from and what was your experience with them.  Who should I be
avoiding.

Thanks in advance,
Felix

p.s. If you want to reply via e-mail make sure to change the .xae to
ca at the end of my e-mail address.

You can expect to pay GST and PST when it arrives. Have it shipped by air
parcel post......there is only a $5.00 handling fee at the post office.
Courier services charge brokerage fees so avoid them. Some dealers in the
U.S. won't ship via the post office. I 've had good luck with Grove
Enterprises but there are many others to choose from!
Hope this helps.
