San Diego PD via Internet?

San Diego PD via Internet?

Post by Si » Wed, 01 Sep 1999 04:00:00

Since moving from San Diego I have missed listening to the scanner. I
knew all the codes and being a reserve officer I knew the "lingo" and
routines. Is there anyone transmitting the San Diego Police on the
internet? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Sid

Is it just me and my browser (IE5) or does the www.socal911.com page have a
habit of blanking out and acting really odd?

I did a "VIEW > Source" off my toolbar and got most everything a right click
would have gotten me.    If I'm not mistaken, that page disappeared once
before due to goofiness and "just because."   Methinks if you have a real
need for privacy, control and/or protection of "intellectual property," then
you oughta stay off the net!

Thanks for the info, Keith

They have coded the page with java script and they have prevented people
from
right clicking on their web page in a vain attempt to stop people from copy
their pictures and links. Who ever runs that site is a control freak.
