Scott,
Every Uniden scanner I have, whether hand held and having the battery
recharged or any of my base scanners, all the wall plugs/transformers
are warm within a couple of minutes of being pluged in.  It's normal
as far as they all do it.

Howdy everyone!

I just purchased a BC-895 the other day, and I love it.
However, I have noticed something with it that I'm rather
worried about.  I don't know if its normal, but this is my
first scanner that isn't a handheld.  Anyways, the
wall wart gets extremely warm when it's left on for even
just as little as an hour.  This isn't normal, is it?

Thanks,
Scott

Strange.  But, the Pro-46 is also made by Uniden, isn't it?
I don't have that problem with that scanner.  But, thanks for the
input though.  I wasn't sure if that was normal or not. :)
