I have several of these, mostly to work 225-400 AM.  Fabulous antenna from the
performance standpoint and for construction durability (and I live where
hurricanes abound).

The Grove Scanner Beam mentioned above is $74.95 plus shipping not
$45.00.  At least that is what his website says, is there a sale?

I recently purchased the AntennaWarehouse Scanner Beam (exact same
antenna).  Same antenna but price at only $54.00, almost a $21.00
saving!   It is one excellent antenna, you can read my review at:

Could be right.  I didn't see the "install in attic" would would also
inicate it might be a used antenna.

Now my question is why would he be selling?

I have the older Grove Beam, they recommend you install this beam vertical,
NOT Horizontal, So can you install this antenna in your attic vertically,
your going to need at least 6 feet tall space??

For all his other legitimate contributions to the hobby, George also
delights in shilling for Antenna Warehouse and "dissing" Grove at every
opportunity. This private sale of Grove merchandise provided George with
a temptation that was simply too great to resist.

I never understood that term "shill".  I've asked Glenn Hansen as he was
the first I've heard use it.  Seeing your both from Washington State are
you a "shill" (for what ever that means) for Glenn?

What ever, Anything I've said about Grove is true and can be easily
proven in writing.

As far as my connection with AntennaWarehouse I'm nothing more than a
customer who was very happy with that I received.

So, For $45 you will install a Grove Scanner Beam in my Attic ?

Hell I don't want you in my attic. Just give me the antenna and i'll
install it myself.

It is a common word, found in virtually every dictionary. Your lack
of familiarity with it says as much about your general level of education
as it does about the appropriateness of its use.

I hope your radio skills are better than your geographical ones!
Check the coordinates in my sig below (they were in my prior post). If
you think that is somewhere in Washington State, I have some beachfront
property to sell you!

Quote:> are you a "shill" (for what ever that means) for Glenn?

Hardly! He and I have crossed swords a number of times over the
years we've been regulars here. If you had been around for long you might
have noticed that.

        Yeah. Uh-huh.

The fact remains that you have this unhealthy, obsessive-compulsive
thing about tearing down anything regarding Grove Enterprises. Maybe you
are unhappy with them. Get over it. Move on!

If that last is an attempt at anit-semitic humor, it isn't funny.
Now, grow up!
