FRG9600.....20-950 mhz mod...anyone done it and had it work?

FRG9600.....20-950 mhz mod...anyone done it and had it work?

I did this mod and it works fine on the upper freqs but everything below
60 mhz is exactly 27.250 mhz off freq.  In other words, if I want to
listen to 50.25, I have to enter 23.000 mhz.  This is NOT an image!  The
sensitivity is as good as the stock freqs.  Did I do something wrong?

                        Thanks...Greg

I think so ... I did the same thing and it work perfectly from about 30 to 955
MHz

Did you use this modification or not?

I'm planning on performing this modification to my FRG-9600.
I'll post the results.

PS.  I've already performed the modification for discriminator
output and it works just fine for receiving digital modes like
POCSAG, etc.
