I heard that Optronics has a 2035 computer interface in the works.
I got a 2006 myself. Works fine, and the 2006 is supposed to be
better immune to RF interference, some images, and the like,
than the 2035. The only disadvantages are a 400 channel memory,
vs a 1000 channel memory, although each has 10 banks. Ten
one-hundred channel banks, I think, are as much use as ten forty
channel banks, anyway. Also, the 2035 scans at 50 cps, as opposed
to 26 cps (without the computer interface) on a 2006. Other than
that, my 2006 more than suits my purposes.
