NASCAR Pepsi 400 Notice: Live Driver/Crew Comms Broadcast.

Post by George » Tue, 03 Jun 2003 01:00:11

Ive been receiving a lot of emails from NASCAR/Scanner fans asking if
Im planing on once again broadcasting the live Driver/Crew radio
communications during the Pepsi 400 race.

On Saturday July 5, 2003 I do plan on broadcasting Driver/Crew and
Officials comms during the race.  As before I will be using Live365.com
for audio streaming.  You can access my live broadcasts at
http://www.MilAirComms.com and youll see the link.

Some people ask me why I use Live365 and have suggested other audio
streaming systems which are free (Live365 charges me about $20.00 /month
but is free for the listeners).   The reason I use Live365 is because
they are the only service which Ive found that can handle the amount of
traffic my live broadcast generates.  In Feb. my Daytona 500 broadcast
had well over 200 simultaneous listeners.

Also, as before Ill be broadcasting up to 4 scanners simultaneously via
an audio mixer allowing me to  quickly switch between leaders and
interesting comms.

Ill post more information and updates as we get closer to race day.

That sounds like fun. I just watched them try to start at Dover.

Had a wonderful two hour nap this morning, wonderful.
