i have a voice activated radio shack tape deck model
ctr-69 mod.14-1154.
i am looking for a phone patch cord for this unit.
the local radio shack stores say this part is no longer
available.
if any radio shack stores have this cord lying
around, i will buy it.
thank for any info.

If that cord is no longer available, I'm glad I got one while it was!
You might try asking for cat # 274-300, an attenuating adapter; it has
a 1/8" plug, and an RCA jack. Adapter set #274-359 contains adapters
to allow the attenuator to work with 1/8" cords. $2.99/2.99
I also have these, and they work as well as the cord. 40dB attenuation,
according to the catalog.
