Fedex / Dallas PD MDT

Does anyone have any further information regarding the MDT systems currently
in use by Fedex and the Dallas Police and Fire? I am curious to learn more
about it, and hoping someone has had some success in developing/using a
computer to intercept and interpret these transmissions.

If anyone can advise me of any Canadian agencies using this format, I would
like to know which ... I beleive this to be a rare system and currently in
use by my local PD in the 406 MHz range, but I don't want to assume if there
are other users in my area using similar MDTs.

For those who are unfamiliar with the audio for this digital signal can
sample it here  ....

Thanks for any and all comments. It's most appreciated.

I understand that you live in Canada and it may be legal to monitor mdt
transmissions there, but in Texas there is a state law that make is a
felony.  I just thought I would let you know so that you didn't get into any
trouble on any trip you might make to Dallas.
