Using OS456 & OS535 signals for MDT, Trunker & PD-203?

Using OS456 & OS535 signals for MDT, Trunker & PD-203?

I wonder if anyone out there who has the Pro2006 w/ OS456 has considered
that the scanner already has a tap to the descriminator.  I don't have
the specs on the CIV port, but I bet the signals we all want are on the
pins of the serial port already.  Further, I bet with a simple pin
converter, we could tap the signal into the Trunker.exe and MDT.exe as
well as the PD-203 software.

Does anyone have intimate knowlege of the CIV port on this device.  I'd
like to only have 1 cable between my scanner and computer if possible
and it seems that it COULD be done.  I know there are a great number of
us who have this configuration, I bet some of these programs will
eventually be integrated into scanner control software!

I must admit, I don't have the expertise (yet) to even say how to do it,
but if anyone can point me in the direction of CIV interface info, I'd
appreciate it.

Just trying to stimulate some hardware exploitation,
