Red Wave Radio

        Well, I've narrowed it down between these two units.  Can anyone
        give me info on each, or tell me where I can find pertinent
        reviews.  I'd appreciate ANY info.....

  Well,
If you REALLY want one of these "fine scanners",you can find reviews in
monitoring times magazine,and on the Internet too.After you read them,you
HOPEFULLY will come to your senses and get a Pro 2006 from a mail order
discounter($360)and enjoy the scanning hobby and not hate Unidum's gut's
for the deceptive ads that convinced you to buy such a worthless peice of
CRAP!!Seriously,both these radios have serious problems and I feel that
they should never have even been released!They are typical Uniden stuff:
lots of features,lots of hype,and as usual with Uniden,BAD radio
performance!Lots of intermod,images,fm broadcast heard on 850 MHZ!!!
I was doubtful about this until I heard it for myself!Both of them did it,
the 8500 was incredibly bad!Well,I guess you will buy what you want to,but
make sure you can SEND IT BACK if you dont like it!That way,all you will be
out is a few bucks shipping!
