I came into possession of a Yaesu FL7000 autotuner/amp which is
about 9 years old. The autotuner section is powered by a
lithium battery which is good for about 5 years, so saith the
manual. The autotuner is currently slow and forgetful, not unlike
its new owner, and its problem is probably a bum battery. There's
nothing in the manual about how to replace this battery, although
the schematic shows which microprocessor it's near. Is there anyone
familiar with the FL-7000 and the technique for replacing the
battery before I do an unskilled foray into its innards, and where
a new battery can be purchased? Thanks for your help. 73 de
