Red Wave Radio

Trying again.  I want to get a 2 / 6 meter radio for my truck and will
most likely buy new.  What radios are a good deal on the lower cost
end of scale?  I can't afford ne plus ultra type of stuff.

about the only one that is 6n2 only is the temtec not sure the model
number of it go to www.tentec.com and look for it its around $500 i think
you wont find anything with those two bands for any cheaper than say 300
used if i where you i would look into the icom 706 series of radios its
HF/6/2 all modes and used goes for around 400$
