Nice idea on the 118 MHz rock. Only one problem...the 11M noise is loud and
dirty around here - or so I'm told, haven't spent much time on 11M since
getting my ticket - the whole idea was to get away from the crud that 11M
had degraded into. I'd be a bit concerned that one of these guys might be
in the neighborhood, splattering into my IF rig. Of course, then again, our
local OO (5 blocks away) fires up his Henry 3K Classic on 10M and wipes out
my 6M on Field Days now. Lord knows what would pop up on a 28 MHz IF!
With the response I've gotten so far, will probably break down and order one
tomorrow - unless I see something REALLY good in a 2M all-mode on the swap
