Looking for possible suggestions on dual recieve dual band HT...

Post by Evan Plat » Thu, 01 May 2003 13:08:09

I'm looking for a dual band HT. 2m/440, 800 rx (856.xxx, 867.xxxx),
and T-Band tx (488.xxx). low band VHF (42 - 43 ) would be nice, but
not necessary. Size doesn't matter - as a matter of fact, I'd prefer a
larger radio than those new HT's that are the size of a pack of cards.

Any radios that will do the above?? I've seen a number of radios but
the official specs show 420 -470, even though the radio may recieve
488.

Thanks. :)

FT-530 Yaesu comes to mind does all that and I have seen a number
available for very reasonable prices that only need a battery.
