I didn't miss it.

Drove over Friday night, spent the night about 20 miles away, got to the
boneyard just after 0600 and started setting up in a light mist.  Had a
stack of old Heath gear for sale.  Set up my table, started unloading boxes,
and had most of it sold before 0630.  Sat around under my umbrella with
plastic covering the rest of the stuff until around 0930 when a guy came up
and bought the rest of it.

Is this a great place or what?  Went there with a stack of boat anchors and
junk, came home with a wad of $20.00 bills and a couple of hundreds.  Closet
is cleaned out, wife is happy.

Someone said it rained all day.

Yes It did, it rained all day, didnt have any luck selling my junk.
 Guess it wasnt to bad, I had my yearly N.C. B.B.Q fix at Bridges
B.B.Q. whew! it was good. Will try to sell my tower and junk at Rock
Hill, S.C. on October 5th

And they were right!
We got there Friday morning about 10:30 and it was already
rocking.
Ralph W4ZO and I spent most of the day walking around looking
for goodies while he wife Jen watched our stuff in the tent.
Made my best sales Firday.
Went home Friday afternoon and got back about 06:05 Saturday AM.
It's only about 1 1/2 hours from Wesley Chapel to Shelby.
Mostly misty in the early morning, then about 10:30 it started
really raining. I sold my Heath SB-110A station about 11:30
and decided to pack up.
It rained all the way home, we had almost 3 inches in the
rain gauge at the house.

Does anyone know who it was that was set up in the over flow
flea market area just outside the back gate, that was selling
a bunch of military gear? He had several PRC-6's that I was
interested in, but the guy that was watching the stuff didn't
know how much anything priced for.
I checked back several time and he was still there without the
owner. Must not have wanted to sell it very bad... huh?

I've been going to Shelby since 1970 and this was my frist
Friday. I will be there on Friday every year from now on.

Hi, Read your report of the Shelby hamfest and got to see another guys
pictures.  Looks like there must have been some nice stuff there.
Wondering how much did you get for the SB110A station and what was its
