New RF radiation exposure standard -- BAD, BAD, BAD!

New RF radiation exposure standard -- BAD, BAD, BAD!

Post by Michael Batchelor - WSHB Operations E » Sun, 12 Jul 1992 10:47:18

Has anyone seen the article on page 6 of the June 24 Radio world about the
proposed new RF radiation exposure standards? Does anyone have any more
technical information on the standard. (It's IEEE C95.1) It seems that
the new proposal is to require stations to actually measure body contact
point current, but it fails to provide a criteria for the
measurement. :-(

Is anyone willing to join a coordinated effort to make sure the FCC
address the engineering problems with the standard before they
blindly adopt it into the next set of rules?

Thanks,
Michael
