Greetings from Quito. This is my first check-in, so I hope I'm doing it
correctly. Several comments on a recent Airwaves issue.
     In response to Stephen Cohen: You can often tell the age of a
vintage radio (or anything for that matter) by checking the latest patent
date, and then finding in what year patents with that number were issued.
That will put you pretty close. I have such a list, if you send me the
latest patent date in your phonograph, I will look it up.
     As to station ID's, I thought I heard somewhere that legal ID's now
are required only once every three hours. Is that true?
