> Subject: community produced radio series on GATT and South Asia

Hello out there,

A community radio program collective in Madison, WI is putting together
a six part series on GATT and its implications for third world
countries, with an emphasis on South Asia. Each part will consist of a
15-20 minute feature including interviews with academics and activists
involved with this issue, as well as analysis of the GATT agreement
itself.

We will be critically examining the GATT issue in terms of its effect on
the environment, intellectual property rights, labor rights, industrial
growth, poverty, etc.

The series is being produced by a volunteer collective which works on a
weekly South Asia public affairs program called *Chingari* on Madison's
community radio station, WORT.

If your community radio station, or organization would like to get
copies of the series, and/or more information, please contact me either
by email or phone.

Hope to hear from community radio folks involved with third world
programming!

Bye for now.
