Most interesting BCB QSL

This happened over ten years ago, and I recalled it to a friend
last weekend; thought it might be of interest.

In October, 1983, while living in Hawaii, I would often wake up
around 4:30 am to dx Alaskan and Asian stations prior to local sunrise.
When I tuned to 560 kHz, I heard KVOK, Kodiak Ak, and they were having a contest.
The first caller to identify the following song would win a
dozen doughnuts from xxx doughnut shop in downtown Kodiak, and
they gave the number.  It was easy; the song was "Young Love" by
Sonny James.  Of course, I preseeded the number with the area code 907, and
wass put on the air as the first caller.  After identifying the song, I was
asked for my name and adress over the air.  I was quite proud to give my address as:
......, Kamehemeha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii.  I think that Kodiak sation was
putting out 250 watts at the time.  They sent me the certificate
from the doughnut shop, containing their address and mine (not spelled correctly, of course),
but it remains my most interesting qsl.
